That’s because Amazon and Discovery Communications have just reached a licensing agreement – allowing Prime members to stream prior seasons of those Discovery series and specials. Those mentioned contents add to the growing titles of videos available from the Amazon Instant Video which as of this writing now totals around 17,000. In case you’re still not an Amazon Prime member, the inclusion of Discovery titles might be a good reason to become a member now and gain access to the Amazon Instant Video catalog. Prime Instant Video is a video subscription service which include a subset of more than 17,000 videos selected from Amazon’s video content partners. The subscription offer allows US customers to stream Prime Instant Videos at no extra cost.
