It looks like MetroPCS is getting ready to bring a follow-up for the LG Optimus M smartphone. The handset is expected to arrive as the LG Optimus M+ and so far we are working without a specific release date or price. Those bits aside though, the folks at PocketNow have uncovered a front and back image of the handset (which can be seen below) and we do have some specs. The specs that have been revealed thus far include a 3.5-inch touchscreen display along with a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera which are improvements from the original Optimus M which was sporting a 3.2-inch display and a 3.2 megapixel rear-facing camera. That being said, these are probably not enough to get the die hard Android user to make a purchase, but it does appear as if the Optimus M+ will be a nice upgrade over the Optimus M. Anyway, once we learn something in terms of the price and/or release — you will be the first to know.
