Instagram and Hipstamatic are two of the most popular photography apps for iOS devices. They both provide access to a range of filters that injects more life into just about any photo that’s taken. Each app has its own respectable communities, but there hasn’t been a very simple way for Hipstamatic users to instantly share their photos with the Instagram community. Starting today, they’ll have that ability.
Fast Company reports that a partnership will be announced today between Instagram and Hipstamatic that will allow photos taken within Hipstamatic to be imported directly into Instagram. When this is done, the photo will be accredited by a “Take with Hipstamatic” tag at the bottom of the photograph.
With this partnership, Hipstamatic stands to gain more users, and Instagram gets to tap into Hipstamatic’s large following.
