Instagram for Android sign-up page goes live

It has been a long time since Instagram was first announced for Android. We don’t know exactly when it’ll be released, but the folks at Instagram showed off an unfinished version of Instagram for Android at SXSW that got everyone talking again. This weekend, Instagram received more attention by letting users sign up to be among the first to try Instagram for Android.

The sign-up website simply asks for an email address for users to be “first in line” for Instagram for Android. The website doesn’t state if the app will be distributed in beta form to those who sign up or if they’ll just get an email the moment Instagram for Android is available in Google Play or the Amazon Appstore.

The wait shouldn’t last much longer now.
