Latest Netflix content agreement will bring some cartoon goodies from the 80′s

Netflix has recently announced a new content agreement. This latest is another multi-year deal, and perhaps a bit more important here — it is with Hasbro. Simply put, Netflix viewers will now be able to enjoy some 80′s style cartoons. According to the details coming from the press release announcement;

“Ten highly popular franchises, including new and catalog seasons of famed Hasbro content, will be available to instantly watch on Netflix.”

In terms of the specific content, the following shows will be available immediately.

“Transformers Prime, My Little Pony, Pound Puppies, G.I. Joe: Renegades and The Adventures of Chuck & Friends“

And coming “later in 2012″ will be others such as;

“JEM & The Holograms, Transformers: Generation 1, G.I. Joe: Real American Heroes,Transformers: Beast Wars and Transformers: Rescue Bots“

With that, those looking to watch can navigate into the “Just For Kids” section in Netflix. Well, that or simply search for one of the above titles.
