Toshiba announces new P Series and Series notebooks

So aside from its new Excite tablets, Toshiba also just announced its latest notebooks under the Toshiba P Series and S Series lines. All these laptops are packed with entertainment-optimized and performance including HD multimedia capability. The Toshiba P800 Series comes packed with 3rd generation Intel Core processors and select configurations with NVIDIA GeForce 630M discrete graphics with battery-saving Optimus technology. In the looks department, this notebook series is housed in etched aluminum body in Champagne Silver design. The laptops come with raised tile keyboards wit LED backlighting, larger Click Pad and multiple USB 3.0 ports. A Harman/Kardon stereo speakers were also thrown in for enhanced audio sound quality. Other features of the P Series laptops include HD webcam, HDMI port and video upconversion technology. Available in 14-, 15.6- and 17.3-inch, these laptops features vivid HD TruBrite LED backlit displays.

The Toshiba S Series laptops on the other hand comes packed with the same 3rd Generation Intel Core processors or the latest multi-core Accelerated Processing Units from AMD with optional discrete ATI graphics.  The laptops are housed in durable brushed aluminum casing in Ice Blue and has spacious trackpad and raised tile keyboard as well. The S Series laptops are available in 3 configurations namely, Satellite S 845 with 14-inch diagonal widescreen display, Satellite S855 with 15.6-inch display and Satellite S875 with 17.3-inch display.
