Netflix for Windows Phone gets an update; brings streaming for the UK, Ireland and Latin America (and more)

The Netflix app for Windows Phone has been updated. This most recent release brings the app up to version 2.0 and can be found in the Windows Phone Marketplace. In terms of what has been changed, added or improved — the changelog reads as follows;

  • Support for additional international locations – UK & IRE, 47 countries in Latin America
  • New localized UI for all international locations
  • Support for subtitles, closed caption and alternate audio
  • Performance improvements and optimizations for a better browsing and viewing experience
