Still remember the Huawei Ascend P1 Android smartphone which we told you about not so long ago? Well, said device is set to become available in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Australia come May. Soon after in June, it will also be made available in Latin America and then in Europe starting in the summer. Other countries, according to Huawei will have the Ascend P1 as well. In case you already forgot, the Ascend P1 is a pretty capable handset with dual-core 1.5GHz Cortex A9 processor, 4.3-inch (960×540) Super AMOLED touchscreen with Corning Gorilla Glass, an 8MP BSI rear-facing camera and Dolby Mobile 3.0 + 5.1 surround technology. It looks sexy as well measuring only 7.69mm thin and 64.8mm long. With those specs and features, the Huawei Ascend P1 could be a good match-up against the rumored Samsung Galaxy S III. Any idea on when the quad-core Ascend smartphone is coming out, Huawei?
