Android 2.3.4 software update now available for the T-Mobile G2x

Those rocking T-Mobile G2x may want to be on the lookout for a software update. This update is arriving as Android 2.3.4 and software version P999-V21y. According to the details coming from T-Mobile, the update has already begun rolling out (as a 30.5MB file) and will be going out in batches with the process wrapping up on May 14th. Simply put, if you have a T-Mobile G2x, you should be seeing an update notification sometime between now and May 14th. In terms of what this will bring (aside from a new software version number), the changelog reads as follows;

• Device stability improvements
• Wi-Fi Calling  improvements
• Boot up fixes
