Internet radio app for Android, SiriusXM has just been updated to a newer version and it’s now available for download from the Google Play store. According to the update log, the Android app now gives you more control of how you listen to content from SiriusXM by giving you access to more programming, such as live sports play-by-play, as well as more control over when and where you listen to your favorite SiriusXM channels and programs. What catches our attention to the update is one particular new feature which says that you can now select and listen to content that you have previously listened to on various channels. The new feature is called Tune Start and it lets you rewind back — up to 5 hours elapsed time. The feature also lets you pause live radio, replay a song or segment, and skip forward. Another new feature is show alerts which send you reminders when your favorite shows begin. The app also now gives you album art and artists bios as well as improved reliability and sound quality. SiriusXM Internet radio app is available now as a free download in Google Play. While the app is free, access to Internet radio however requires subscription fees.
