First seen at the CES 2012, Sony’s first ultrabook series, the VAIO T13/T11 has just been announced for release sometime in June. But before you get your hopes too high, the ultrabooks will only be available in Europe next month. Still, it will be worth taking stock of what this ultra-thin notebook have to offer so that you’ll know what to expect once it hits the US market. For starters, the VAIO T13/T11 packs a Sandy Bridge Intel Core i3-2367M processor inside a 323mm thick frame which is said to weigh 16kg. That’s for the VAIO T13 which if you have guessed by now has a 13-inch screen size. These ultrabooks also come with 320GB HDD and 32GB SSD, HD webcam for the VAIO T13, 4GB of DDR3 memory with HD Graphics 3000 and the usual connectivity options such as Bluetooth 4.0, HDMI output, USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports. Battery life of the ultrabooks will last up to 9 hours according to Sony. Pricing for the European market is yet to be announced.
