LG originally announced the Optimus L7 back in February when they unveiled the L Series of smartphones. And well, needless to say the details surrounding the release were a bit scarce at the time. Thankfully though, LG has recently come forward with some additional details — and for those who may have been waiting, it was noted that the LG Optimus 7 will “begin arriving in stores this week.” Further details coming from LG note that the handset will be arriving in Europe this month and then in Asia and “other markets around the world soon after.”
As for the handset itself, the Optimus L7 will arrive with features to include a 4.3-inch WVGA touchscreen display, 1GHz Cortex A5 MSM 7227A processor, (up to) 2.7GB of internal storage space, a microSD card slot, 1700 mAh battery, front-facing VGA quality camera and a rear-facing 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus and LED flash. The phone will be running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Finally, the Optimus L7 will measure in at 125.5 x 67 x 8.7 mm in size.
