Twitpic has officially released an iPhone app. The app arrives as Twitpic and can be found in the iOS App Store as version 1.0 and with support for devices running iOS 5.0 or later. The app is free to download and free to use and touts itself as being the “easiest and best way to share your photos and videos with your Twitter followers.” That being said, the app does what many would expect and/or have hoped to see coming from Twitpic — it allows you to take, edit and then share your images. The feature set of the Twitpic app breaks down as follows;
Quickly and seamlessly share your photos and videos with all of your Twitter followers
Edit your photos with beautiful filters and easy to use enhancement tools
Browse your Twitter photo timeline with photos from people you follow in a beautiful interface
Browse photos from the most popular Twitpic users
Manage your Twitpic photos and videos in your own timeline
