Voyager Mobile was all set to share more information and debut its affordable wireless service today. The new carrier, which is headed up by a 22-year old college student named John Mardini, was the victim of a hack today. More specifically, the carrier’s main website came under attack.
Voyager Mobile’s website says it’s “postponing its launch to a time and date in the very near future.”
“Our goal of low cost wireless service for all will not be undermined and we strive to continue the voyage for a better wireless world,” the website reads.
Voyager Mobile didn’t get into specifics regarding the attack, but we’ve contacted them for more information. We’ll be sure to let you all know if they respond.
