Lenovo IdeaTab S2109 Ice Cream Sandwich tablet hits the US market

That Lenovo Android tablet which passed through the FCC last month is now available from the Lenovo site. Refreshing your memory a bit in case its being occupied by other things, the tablet is the Lenovo IdeaTab S2109. It’s an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich tablet that looks a lot like and measures the same as the iPad. The tablet, in case you missed our previous story, sports the same 9.7-inch 4:3 aspect ratio display of the iPad. The display resolution is pegged at 1024 x 768 pixels. It’s not Corning Glass nor Retina display, but I’m pretty sure it would be decent enough for your movie-watching pleasures. Also, when it comes to thickness, the IdeaTab S2109 is a bit thicker than the iPad with its 8.9mm unibody shell. The tablet also boast of 1GHz TI OMAP 4430 dual-core processor, and a 1.3MP camera. Expect the IdeaTab S2109 to become available for sale starting this June.
