LG Optimus L7 smartphone tipped for release in Canada with Rogers

While we have yet to see any official confirmation coming from the carrier, a recently discovered FutureShop listing is showing the LG Optimus L7 smartphone as coming to Rogers, something that has been rumored for months now. The handset has recently appeared on the FutureShop website and while there is not yet a release date being offered, the Optimus L7 is shown as being free on a three-year agreement. And nicely done, this is a free on contract handset with some decent (but not necessarily high-end) specs. For starters, the Optimus L7 is running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Other goodies include a 4.3-inch (480 x 800) touchscreen display, 1GHz processor, 2GB of internal storage space, a microSD card slot, front facing VGA quality camera and a rear-facing 5 megapixel camera with LED flash.
