Acer Aspire S5 ultrabook now available for pre-order with the Microsoft Store, has an expected ship date of June 25th

Acer may have originally announced the Aspire S5 during CES, but the good news as of today — the Windows 7 running ultrabook has officially come available for pre-order. The Aspire S5 is available by way of the Microsoft Store where the price is $1,399. Specifically, the model is the Acer Aspire S5-391-9860.

In terms of features, the Aspire S5 will bring goodies to include a 13.3-inch HD widescreen CineCrystal LED backlit display at 1366 x 768, a 1.90GHz Intel Core i7-3517U processor, Intel Graphics 4000, 4GB of RAM, a 256GB SSD, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth, 3-cell battery (for up to 6.5 hours of run time), a 1.3 megapixel (1280 x 1024) webcam and Windows 7 Home Premium.

Those making the purchase before the end of January (2013) will also get the $14.99 upgrade to Windows 8 Pro. And lastly, as of now the estimated ship date is noted as June 25th.
