For those of you who get your e-book fix using a Sony reader, well, now you can have the comforts of buying e-books from Sony’s web-based Reader store which has just opened up. The web-based Sony Reader store will provide you with access to your Reader Store account using any web browser — including Internet Explorer, Safari, Chrome and Firefox. You can sign to the Sony Reader store and of course buy e-books without the hassle of installing any software on your computer. If you’re about to jump into e-book reading and the Sony reader is your choice of device, you’ll be glad to know that the Reader Store eBooks are supported by any Adobe DRM supported app or device. You can download these ebooks on the Sony Reader device as well as  other non-Sony devices.  Also, e-Books that you ordered from the Sony Reader bookstore will be pushed to your Sony e-book reader or to your phone or tablet via the Sony Reader Android app. Speaking of the app, this was also updated and is now available on Google Play. The updated app now has sharper interface, landscape viewing capabilities and improved stability. The Sony Reader app is available now on Google Play for free.
