NetGear today has announced the new NeoTV Pro HD Streaming Player as its latest addition to its family of streaming players. NeoTV is said to be capable of providing high quality streaming content from wide variety of online channels. But what makes it really special is the fact that it happens to be the first streaming player with wireless display capability, courtesy of the Intel Wireless Display (WiDi). With this feature, you’ll be able to display virtually any type of content from an Intel WiDi laptop to your TV – this means bringing the web onto the big screen.

The NeoTV Pro lets you choose from a selection of streaming movies, TV shows and music from streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu Plus, Vudu, YouTube, Pandora and many others. After selecting your source, NeoTV then allows you to instantly stream content to your TVs in full 1080 HD with surround sound. The device also easily connects to the Internet via built-in high-speed 300 Mbps WiFi which delivers smooth streaming at 1080p HD video resolution. It can also stream content through Ethernet cable. What makes it an even cooler streaming device is the NeoTV Streaming Player remote control app which is available for iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad or Android smartphone and tablet. This app simply turns your device into a remote control for the streaming device.

The NETGEAR NeoTV Pro Streaming Player (NTV200S) is available now in various retailers and online stores and will set you back for $69.99.
