Outside of the Samsung Galaxy S III, carriers are actually launching other devices. Ever since the Galaxy S III was announced, much of the chatter seems to revolve around that singular device until it launches. However, the carriers have other smartphones in the pipeline, and according to a leaked image, T-Mobile looks to be gearing up to launch the Samsung SGH-T699. While it isn’t the Galaxy Nexus, it is a capable QWERTY Slider smartphone featuring Android 4.0 out of the box.
Other known specs include a 5MP rear facing camera, a front facing camera, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor (either of the S3 or S4 variety). The screen size is probably around 4.0 inches, but the tipster does not make a specific mention of the screen leading me to think it is not the same HD resolution screen found in the Galaxy S III. However, it does feature a design similar to the Galaxy S III with a center button, a left menu button, and a right back button.
We’re hoping to hear more information such as its pricing and availability in the coming weeks.
