It looks like Verizon is trying to entice some to purchase the HTC Rezound smartphone by temporarily lowering the price. The handset, which is normally priced at $199.99 has been dropped down to $79.99. This newly lowered price comes after a $120 “promo discount” and along with the expected two-year agreement. And sure, the Rezound may be getting on a bit in age, but at the same time — it is still a more than capable handset — especially for (a penny shy of) $80. To offer the recap, the Rezound has features to include a 4.3-inch (720 x 1280) touchscreen display, dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 4G LTE connectivity, a 2 megapixel front-facing camera and an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash. The handset is currently running Gingerbread. And lastly, the Rezound also ships with a 16GB microSD card in the box.
