Asus Zenbook Prime UX31A now available with Amazon; arrives with a 13.3-inch display and priced from $1150

As many had expected, Asus has brought the Zenbook UX31A notebook lineup to the US market. The notebooks, which are priced from as low as $1150 are available by way of Amazon. These models all feature 13.3-inch displays and are powered by Intel Core i5 or i7 processors and running Windows 7. The shipping and availability will depend on the model that you are choosing and some seemed to be rather limited at the moment.

The specific models include the UX31A-DB51 for $1149.99, the UX31A-DB52 for $1249.99, the UX31A-AB71 for $1349.99 and the UX31A-DB72 for $1599.99.

On the lower end of this spectrum, the DB51 brings a 1.7GHz Intel Core i5-3317U processor, 4GB of RAM, a 128GB SSD, backlit keyboard and a weight of 2.86 pounds. And on the higher end here, the DB72 also has the backlit keyboard and 4GB of RAM, but bumps the storage up to a 256GB SSD. The processor for the DB72 is a 1.7GHz Intel Core i7-3517U.
