Acer just launched the latest line in its Ultrabook Timeline series – the Aspire Timeline Ultra M5. According to Acer, this latest ultrabook is slimmer and lighter that previous generations of its Timeline series. The Ultrabook measures only .81 inches thin and weighs a mere 4.3 pounds. Style-wise, Acer said that the Ultra M5 series sports a minimalist and modern look with its stylish silver cover made of aluminum alloy that also provide overall sturdiness to the machine aside from giving it the modern and elegant look.
To be released in three model configurations. The first Ultra M5 model sports a 14-inch HD widescreen CineCrystal LED backlit display, Intel Core i3 2377M 1.5GHz processor, 6GB of RAM and Intel HD Graphics 3000 with 128MB of system memory. There’s also another 14-inch model but this time it is loaded with an Intel Core i5-3317U 2.6GHz processor with Turbo Boost technology, 4GB of RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GT640M LE graphics with 1GB of dedicated memory. Finally, the 15-inch Ultra M5 with Intel Core i5 3317U 2.6GHz processor also with Turbo Boost Technology and NVIDIA GeForce GT640M LE with 1GB of dedicated GDDR5 VRAM. This one comes with 6GB of dual channel RAM.
All three Acer Aspire Timeline Ultra M5 ultrabooks will be available from the US Acer online store and retailers starting at the end of June. Price tags range from $678.99 to $829.99.
