It looks like Asus has finally offered up some official details in terms of the Transformer Pad Infinity tablet. Or as some may recognize the device, the Asus Transformer Pad TF700. But regardless if you know the device as the Infinity or the TF700 — the good news is that it will be available in the US in just a few weeks time. The tablet is expected to arrive in mid-July and priced from $499. A bit more specifically, the 32GB model will be $499 and the 64GB model will be a $100 more expensive — $599. In addition, the dock/keyboard will set you back an extra $149 which will bring the total price up to $648 or $748 respectively. Otherwise, the Transformer Pad Infinity will have features to include a 10.1-inch (1920 x 1200) IPS touchscreen, 1GB of RAM, a 2 megapixel front facing camera, an 8 megapixel rear facing camera and running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. A few other points worth noting, Asus is offering 8GB of free cloud based storage and the processor will be dependent on the model you choose. The Wi-Fi only Infinity will have a quad-core Tegra 3 SoC and the 4G cellular connected models will be powered by a dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor.
