While the international ThinkPad tablet users began receiving their new dessert last month, it looks like those in the US were made to wait. Thankfully though, it looks like that wait has officially come to an end. Simply put, those in the US that happen to be sporting a Lenovo ThinkPad tablet should be on the lookout for an update notification to arrive. Yup, your Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update is on the way. Users have two options to consider, sitting back with some patience and waiting or taking the pro-active approach and grabbing your tablet and checking manually. We suspect most will choose the latter. And with that, some of the goodies that you can look forward to getting include improved notifications, home screen folders and a favorites tray, new lock screen actions, google Chrome bookmarks, improved email, Android Beam, Face Unlock and much much more.
