Google I/O 2012: Galaxy Nexus HSPA+ gets a price cut, now down to a contract-free $349

Google began selling the unlocked Galaxy Nexus HSPA+ back in late-April. At the time the handset was priced, at a rather nice sounding $399. And well, as of today the unlocked Galaxy Nexus HSPA+ is a bit cheaper. Google has lowered the price down to $349. Sounds like a pretty solid deal for a contract free device. Of course, with the Google I/O keynote just underway — we do have to wonder if this price cut is simply making room for a new Nexus smartphone. Bottom line, while $349 is more than tempting, we suggest holding off for at least a few hours.
