Barnes & Noble and DC Entertainment today announced a new partnership that will bring DC Comics and Vertigo characters that we’ve all grown to love and hate – on the Nook Tablet and Nook Color. In addition, these will also be available on Nook for Android installed on Android tablets and smartphones.

In addition to this, Barnes & Noble is also rolling out Zoom View, a new feature for the Nook tablet and Nook Color that lets you focus in on individual panels in graphic novels and comics. This lets you enjoy the artworks and storytelling of those DC comics that you’ll be downloading on your devices. This feature requires an update to the current Nook tablet and Nook Color sofware is freely available from www.nook.com/support. Over-the-air update of this software will be rolled out starting today.
