The day two Google I/O keynote has kicked off and it looks like we have some talk of iOS. This first bit will come as good news for those who use an iOS device and were hoping to see the Chrome browser come available. Simply put, Google has announced Chrome for the iPhone, iPod touch and the iPad.

The better news, Chrome for iOS will be available in the App Store later today. Chrome will be available for devices running iOS 4.3 or later and will bring features to include bookmark, password and tab syncing as well as incognito mode and more.

Of course, while we are thrilled to see Chrome launch for iOS, we still cannot get passed the fact that Apple will not allow the user to switch the default browser. In other words, while we will soon have Chrome on iOS, any clicked web links will still launch Safari.
