While people from around the world have been able to shell out their money to support a Kickstarter project, up until this time the creation of projects has been limited to those in the US. As of today, it looks like the folks at Kickstarter have announced a bit of good news for an additional market of potential project creators. Beginning sometime this autumn, those in the UK will be able to launch projects. Most likely, this will upset at least some in Europe, but for now it looks like they will be left waiting. Otherwise, the details for those in the UK are pretty limited. In fact, all we have at this time is the general timeframe of autumn and the promise of “more info soon.”
