Google Nexus 7 tablet pre-orders go live with Sam’s Club

Today, Sam’s Club published a pre-order page on its online webstore for the Google Nexus 7 tablet featuring Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. For many Nexus 7 consumers, this represents just another retailer offering the Nexus 7 without any firm shipment date. While we empathize with your impatience, Sam’s Club provides a delivery date of July 17-20.
Google originally announced the Nexus 7 will ship in mid-July, and I firmly believe within the next couple of days we will know for sure when the device begins shipping. There are many retailers already lining up to begin shipping the Nexus 7 — it is only a matter of days now, folks.
