We recently saw AT&T introduce an additional color Nokia Lumia 900 smartphone, which for those who missed that bit — it was pink. Of course, the pink joined the white, black and cyan. But more recently, and perhaps better news for those who have been eyeing a Lumia 900 — AT&T has slashed the price. Effective as of this time, the Lumia 900 is now $49.99 with AT&T. Sadly though, even with a dramatic price cut, it still does not match what we have seen with Amazon Wireless. In short, AT&T has cut the price in half. The $49.99 still requires a two-year agreement which may scare some away given the handset will not be getting a Windows Phone 8 update. But on that note — that is not to say the Lumia 900 has reached an end-of-update cycle though, AT&T has recently come forward with some details on Windows Phone 7.8 — which is coming soon. That being said, few phones today are going to hold up perfectly over the life of a two-year agreement, but that does not mean the Lumia 900 is bad. In fact, we would go as far as offering it up as a suggestion. After all, the Lumia 900 is a 4G LTE device with features to include 4.3-inch AMOLED ClearBlack display, 1.4GHz processor, 512MB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 1 megapixel front-facing camera and an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with Carl Zeiss optics.
