As we were expecting to happen, the Sprint 4G LTE network has officially launched. The initial launch puts coverage in 15 cities which surround the Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City and San Antonio markets. The complete list of cities with available Sprint 4G LTE coverage includes;
Atlanta
Athens, Ga.
Calhoun, Ga.
Carrollton, Ga.
Newnan, Ga.
Rome, Ga.
Dallas
Fort Worth, Texas
Granbury-Hood County, Texas
Houston
Huntsville, Texas
San Antonio, Texas

Kansas City, Mo.-Kan.

Otherwise, Sprint has plans to expand on the 4G LTE coverage in the second half of this year. As of this time however, Sprint has yet to reveal which (or how many) other markets will get 4G LTE during 2012. And looking forward to 2013, Sprint expects to have 4G LTE coverage available for 250 million users across the US.
