Sony Mobile launches the Xperia NXT Series in the US market

We saw a few unlocked Sony Xperia devices come available for sale here in the US a short while back, and well, as of today it looks like a few more are now available. The latest handsets to come available include the Sony Xperia P, Xperia U and Xperia S and all three can be found direct with Sony as well as with some third party retailers such as Newegg.

In terms of the prices and the specs, lets first begin with the Xperia P — this one is priced at $559.99 and has features to include a 4.3-inch (1280 x 720) display, dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm MSM8260 processor, 1GB of RAM, 1GB of internal storage, a 1700 mAh battery, 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera, 12.1 megapixel rear-facing camera and Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The Xperia P is available in black and/or white.

Next up, the Xperia U. This handset is priced at $299.99 and sports features to include a 3.5-inch (854 x 480) touchscreen, dual-core 1GHz STE U8500 processor, 512MB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, a 1320 mAh battery, VGA quality front-facing camera, 5 megapixel rear-facing camera and Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The Xperia U is available in black/white, white/yellow and pink/black.

Lastly, the Xperia S. This handset is also running Android 2.3 Gingerbread. This one is available in black, red or white and priced at $479.99. The hardware features of the Xperia S include a 4-inch (960 x 540) display, dual-core 1GHz U8500 processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage a VGA quality front-facing camera and a 8 megapixel rear-facing camera.
