It looks like Motorola has quietly lowered the price of the MOTOACTV fitness watch. The watch is now priced at $149 for the 8GB model or $199 for the 16GB model. And on top of that — it is now shipping with the watch band included, which for those who may not have been paying attention before — that was once a $30 extra.

The MOTOACTV is available direct with Motorola as well as with various third party retailers including Amazon (where it is a Prime eligible item) as well as with Walmart (who have it for a bit less). Otherwise, the MOTOACTV fitness watch enables you to track and monitor your workout progress over time. You can use it in conjunction with the MOTOACTV Training Portal as well as an MP3 player and even an audio coach. Additionally, it has built-in Wi-Fi which enables automatic syncing of your data and is sweat proof, rain resistant and scratch resistant.

Bottom line, if you had been tempted by the MOTOACTV but were turned off by the price — now seems like a good time to buy (or at least reconsider a purchase).
