ZTE has officially (re)announced a smartphone, the N880E. And in a little bit of good news and not so good news — the ZTE N880E will be launching with Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean. That of course was the good. Moving on, the handset will only be available for those in China, which of course is the not so good. Well, not so good for those outside of China anyway. Otherwise, the ZTE N880E may sound familiar to some as it had previously launched back in May and running Android 2.3 Gingerbread. And nicely done, the N880E had previously sold more than one million units as a Gingerbread device. Aside from Android 4.1.1 JB, the remaining features for the ZTE N880E break down as follows;

  • 4-inch (480 x 800) WVGA capacitive touchscreen
  • 1GHz Qualcomm 7627A processor
  • 512MB RAM
  • 4GB of internal storage
  • microSD card slot (with support for up to 32GB)
  • 1650 mAh battery
  • Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, GPS
  • 3.2 megapixel rear-facing camera with auto-focus
  • Measurements: 119 x 61 x 10.4 mm
  • Weight: 130 grams
