Vizio Co-Star (Google TV) now available for pre-order, will ship August 14th

Vizio officially announced their Google TV, the Co-Star back towards the end of June, and well, while the set-top box is not quite ready to be delivered — you can move forward with a pre-order. The pre-orders are only available direct with Vizio, however the price is as expected — $99.99. Those moving forward with a pre-order will get free shipping and according to Vizio, the “estimated” shipping date is August 14th. In other words, you still have a few weeks to wait before your Co-Star arrives. With that, the Vizio Co-Star ships with a universal touchpad remote with keyboard, supports Full HD 1080p and 3D video and has Wi-Fi and Ethernet for connectivity. The Co-Star is also sporting a USB 2.0 port along with an HDMI out and HDMI in. And lastly for those worried about adding another set-top box into your home theater set up, rest assured in knowing that the Co-Star is on the smaller size. In fact, the Co-Star measures in at just 4.2 x 1.6 x 4.2 inches.
