Motorola announced the RAZR V smartphone for Canada back on June 10th, however at that time the details were not entirely complete. In other words, they did not offer anything solid in terms of when the handset would be available for purchase. And well, as things tend to go on the interwebs — rumors began and it was looking like the handset would be coming available with Bell sometime in early August. To follow up on that last bit, the latest (and still yet to be officially confirmed) release date is August 2nd. Bottom line, Bell Mobility should have the RAZR V smartphone available on August 2nd. In terms of pricing and specs, lets begin first with the pricing. The folks over at MobileSyrup has suggested that the handset will be available for “just under $400 outright.” That means those willing to get the RAZR V on a three year agreement should have to shell out very little. Otherwise, the specs include Android Ice Cream Sandwich along with a 4.3-inch high-res (540 x 960) display with Color Boost, dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 8 megapixel rear-facing camera, Kevlar backing and a thickness of just 8.4mm.
