Memorial Day was this past weekend so as far as I’m concerned it’s officially summer, especially since my friend’s pool finally opened up. Thus, I’m gathering up my swimsuits from the basement and investing in a couple $1 beach towels (Ninja Turtles themed obviously). In fact, I already invited myself over this weekend for a pool party/BBQ in celebration of summer’s long-awaited arrival. But, what’s a good pool party without beats to keep your party going and tech accessories to keep your existing gadgets safe.
So, to help you turn your pool party into a pool rager, I’ve assembled 8 waterproof gadgets to cover all your bases.
I’ve been thinking about running a half marathon in November, and I’m thinking my training might benefit from some running gadgets. That way, I can be part of the cool kids running club. But where to start? Don’t worry, I’ve done all the research for you (and me). So with that, here are 10 running gadgets to get you moving. Because it’s not about the destination, but the journey.
Is there anything better than fall? Pumpkin spice lattes, cozy clothes, colder commutes, flannel, and, of course, FOOTBALL. So, whether you’re playing pickup touch football in the park, tailgating at your NFL team’s Sunday game, losing sleep over your Fantasy Football team, or simply watching the game on the couch with a cold beer, you’ll want to ensure your tech is up to speed. From apps to gadgets, and everything in between, here’s the items to consider for your fall football season.
The life of a college student is rough. You’re living independently. You’re up all night studying. Sometimes you need a few gadgets to make things easier, or at least add some flair to your white-walled dorm.
Put a couple of these hot items on your back-to-school list. Some are simply too fun or quirky to pass up!
Last week, we posted a list of ten items to bring while camping, ensuring that you’ll be the envy of your peers. While I’m sure that people found a few things to purchase immediately, many of you may have been more likely to have saved items to a wish-list instead. (Half of all that stuff started – and still exists – on my own wish-lists).
Before you set off on your next outdoor adventure, make sure you’re well-prepared. Here’s a list of ten gadgets to make you the envy of your peers.
Camping isn’t what it used to be. These days, you feel like a chump if you show up to a camp ground with a 1980s-era grill and a flashlight that takes batteries. Trust me, you do not want to be the person all the camp-dads are laughing at. Back in the day, your gear pack more »
Okay, so we all know the obvious aspects of the holiday season: cheerful songs, holiday gift-giving, classic movies, and maybe even a little mistletoe (I’m talking to you, Leonardo DiCaprio). But the holidays also bring with it times of mindless eating and colder temperatures making it difficult to hit the pavement for that three mile run. It’s not our fault that Aunt Melanie nitpicks every little thing and stress eating sugar cookies is the only thing that takes the edge off! Or is that just me? So, instead of my usual holiday wish list of books I don’t have time to read and room decor I’ll never hang up, I have decided to focus my wish list on wearable tech. It’s useful, very trendy and it will get me one step closer to my New Years resolutions.
I’m totally a sucker for the holiday frenzy. There I am hitting up Target with a peppermint mocha just looking for the perfect holiday lights and staring at my holiday gift list getting sweaty and nervous. Because let’s face it – it’s not easy to find the perfect gifts for everyone on your list. So enjoy your socks for the fifth year in a row, dad, because you’re not giving me much to go on! But perhaps I should make the switch from lame holiday sweaters to some headphones for everyone. I mean, who doesn’t love music?
Recently, I moved into a new house with two girls from my college. Even though I knew them from back in the day, I still really wanted to make a good impression. So you can imagine how thrilled I was when we went out to breakfast and one of them said, “What our house really needs is a bluetooth speaker.” I might not have a giant plasma TV or adorable wine glasses, but the one thing I can contribute to a home is a bluetooth speaker. Not to mention, I had the perfect portable bluetooth speaker for the job: the Tego Audio CERA bluetooth speaker.
Ever wondered how you could get a digital copy of every book you’ve owned? I would always remember this idea each time I need to bring some reading materials on my trip. As much as I’d love to bring books, they can can be too heavy. Good thing there’s my iPhone and iPad where I more »
Kickstarter is one of my favorite things. For more on that, please refer to my previous product round-up. Anywho, this one is filled to the brim with some recent Kickstarter finds that had me all like “Aw, you know what — that’s pretty damn cute.” I’m comfortable saying that. I think you will be too. more »
