It looks like a new hot app has surfaced. That app is for lists and it is called Clear. And while we should reserve some judgment for a time when we have spent more than 10 minutes playing, we seem to have gotten caught up in the shiny and new feeling with this app and what can we say, it is simple to use which almost makes it fun to use. Anyway, before we gush any further, lets get on with the details of the app. Clear is priced at $0.99, though just to warn your — that is noted as being an introductory price that will be available for a “limited time.” Otherwise, the Clear app is described as being “designed with simplicity and flexibility in mind and works great with any list you throw at it!” More to the point though, the features of the app break down as follows;

• Quick notes list for phone numbers and things

Cloud storage solution SugarSync is about to get another version by way of a Windows Phone app soon. In case you’re not aware, SugarSync works and functions like more popular cloud storage solution, Dropbox. In fact, it might have some better features than Dropbox. At any rate, SugarSync for mobile devices has been pretty much around in Android, iOS and BlackBerry. Pretty soon, it will also become available for Windows Phone. This was confirmed by SugarSync CEO Laura Yecies via an email to subscribers. If SugarSync for Windows Phone becomes available soon, the service might gain an upper ground against Dropbox which as of now doesn’t have a Windows Phone version of its mobile app available.

Just a quick note to inform all of you who are using FacebooK on your Windows Phone. Said app is about to be updated from the Windows marketplace today  (it might be live right now) . According to the Facebook fan page of the Facebook for Windows Phone, the update was brought about by feedbacks they got from those who’ve been using the app. The update is quite huge with new features and much need enhancements including the ability to test out your groups, visit your pages, see who likes your post, change your profile banner image and more. According to the folks over at Droid-Life, Verizon Wireless will soon be launching the Galaxy Nexus in another color — white. The handset has not been given a release date just yet and so far the price is expected to come in at $199. And for those familiar with the pricing of the currently available Galaxy Nexus and wondering why the $100 drop. Well, simply put the White Galaxy Nexus will come with half the amount of internal storage — 16GB as opposed to 32GB. Sort of like the Droid RAZR and the Droid RAZR MAXX.

Verizon Wireless has just launched its latest In Store Trade-In program. Like most of the similar programs which Verizon launched before, this one lets you trade in your no-longer-used wireless devices at any Verizon stores. You’ll get Verizon Wireless gift card depending on the appraised value of your device. You can then use this gift card to purchase a new device or pay off your bills from Verizon Wireless. You can get as much as $300 as exchange value for your devices. The said Trade-In Program is being launched as part of Verizon’s way of helping the Environmental Protection Agency in its drive to recycle old phones in a more environment-friendly way. The Trade-In Program awards gift cards depending on the make, model and condition of devices. Additionally, if you’re feeling more generous, you might consider donating your old phones instead to HopeLine from Verizon program.

The Samsung Galaxy Note is finally available for purchase in Canada across three different carriers: Bell, Telus, and Rogers.  The Galaxy Note is a particularly attractive smartphone for individuals seeking one device that can perform the functions of a smartphone and a tablet.  Instead of buying a standalone smartphone and tablet, the Galaxy Note provides a nice mix of the two given its 5.3 inch touch screen display.

Other specs of the Galaxy Note include Android 2.3.6, a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, LTE connectivity, 8MP rear facing camera, 2MP front facing camera, and an upgrade to Android 4.0 in the near future.

In terms of pricing, the three carriers are offering the Samsung smartphone between $699-779 off contract and at $199 on a three year term.

The details are still rather scarce, however an image of what is said to be the first Motorola smartphone that is powered by an Intel processor and running Ice Cream Sandwich has surfaced. The image, which offers a front and side view has arrive by way of the folks over at PocketNow and come with the following in terms of details — this yet to be named smartphone will be running on the Intel Medfield platform and as you can see from the above pic, the handset will drop the hardware buttons. The only other details involve the camera, which is said to be a “major selling point” and include “instant-on capabilities as well as 15 frame-per-second burst capture.” That all being said, given the time of year, we can only hope that we learn more about this handset during Mobile World Congress which will be kicking off in just a few weeks time.

A few weeks back RIM had announced that they would be giving free BlackBerry PlayBook tablets to Android developers that submitted Android apps for entry into the BlackBerry App World. And well, while that promotion was set to come to an end, it now looks like it will remain open and in effect until March 2nd. According to the details coming from RIM, they have seen more than 1,500 app submissions as of last Friday and perhaps more interesting, they have had more than 6,600 new developers registered in the BlackBerry App World storefront. That all being said, according to RIM;

“All vendors (new and existing) now have until 11:59 PM EST on March 2, 2012 to submit your application to BlackBerry App World.”

Despite nothing coming from Sprint just yet, Samsung had previously confirmed that the Galaxy S II lineup would be getting and update to Ice Cream Sandwich this year. And well, it looks like some evidence of an Android 4.0.3 update for the Epic 4G Touch has been spotted on the Sprint website. The details are coming by way of an RDF page that was discovered by the folks over at xda-developers. Anyway, said page was last dated on February 10th and is showing details on an Android 4.0.3 update for the Samsung SPH-D710 smartphone. Needless to say, while things look good in terms of an upcoming update, we still need the official word from Sprint before we begin to get super excited.

Judging from an event invitation that was recently posted by the folks over at TmoNews, it looks like BlackBerry and T-Mobile will be having an event on March 15th. The event is titled as “What’s Next” and is being billed as an “exclusive event” that will give a “sneak peak preview of BlackBerry’s latest and upcoming technology at T-Mobile.” In short, there still seem to be plenty of details that are missing however speculation (and probably some hope) is pointing towards something BlackBerry 10 related. With that, here is to hearing what happens on March 15th. Or probably more accurately, to hearing what rumors will come available in the meantime.
