Is there anything better than a long weekend? Yes. A long weekend spent doing absolutely nothing. Sure, I have plans to go hiking and to a baseball game but for the most part I will be on my couch enjoying my air conditioning, drinking iced coffee and binge-watching to my heart’s content. But Hannah, there’s so much to watch – how can you even decide where to start? Great question, hypothetical reader. I’ve combed the recent streaming additions to our favorite streaming sites, and I’ve selected your best options for this special Labor Day Weekend.
The life of a college student is rough. You’re living independently. You’re up all night studying. Sometimes you need a few gadgets to make things easier, or at least add some flair to your white-walled dorm.
Put a couple of these hot items on your back-to-school list. Some are simply too fun or quirky to pass up!
Last week, we posted a list of ten items to bring while camping, ensuring that you’ll be the envy of your peers. While I’m sure that people found a few things to purchase immediately, many of you may have been more likely to have saved items to a wish-list instead. (Half of all that stuff started – and still exists – on my own wish-lists).

Here is your friendly reminder that this Sunday is Mother’s Day! Oops! If you’re like me, you procrastinated your Mother’s Day shopping to the very last minute. No offense, mom. I swear I still love you! I have an excuse, however, since my birthday is also on Mother’s Day and I’m selfish (I expect lots of birthday attention from all my readers). I still need to get mom something, and preferably it’s something she’ll actually use. Since I’ve already given my mom every jewelry gift known to man, I thought this year I would delve into a gift that’s more technological.
Camping isn’t what it used to be. These days, you feel like a chump if you show up to a camp ground with a 1980s-era grill and a flashlight that takes batteries. Trust me, you do not want to be the person all the camp-dads are laughing at. Back in the day, your gear pack more »

Okay, so we all know the obvious aspects of the holiday season: cheerful songs, holiday gift-giving, classic movies, and maybe even a little mistletoe (I’m talking to you, Leonardo DiCaprio). But the holidays also bring with it times of mindless eating and colder temperatures making it difficult to hit the pavement for that three mile run. It’s not our fault that Aunt Melanie nitpicks every little thing and stress eating sugar cookies is the only thing that takes the edge off! Or is that just me? So, instead of my usual holiday wish list of books I don’t have time to read and room decor I’ll never hang up, I have decided to focus my wish list on wearable tech. It’s useful, very trendy and it will get me one step closer to my New Years resolutions.
I’m totally a sucker for the holiday frenzy. There I am hitting up Target with a peppermint mocha just looking for the perfect holiday lights and staring at my holiday gift list getting sweaty and nervous. Because let’s face it – it’s not easy to find the perfect gifts for everyone on your list. So enjoy your socks for the fifth year in a row, dad, because you’re not giving me much to go on! But perhaps I should make the switch from lame holiday sweaters to some headphones for everyone. I mean, who doesn’t love music?
If you’ve ever spent time on a plane, you know SkyMall. Full of stuff you never thought could or should exist, the omnipresent catalog always provides welcome eye candy for a long, dull flight. But have you ever bought something from SkyMall? I know I’ve thought about it on a couple occasions. I’ve seen some things more »
