The Singtrix is a karaoke dream

Karaoke machines just don’t cut it and I hate having to select from the limited available tracks that come with the CDs. So, when the VOXX Electronics Singtrix appeared on my desk touting itself as “the most advanced karaoke system ever”, I was weary to trust it.

Ion Audio Air LP gives a wireless reason to reach for vinyl

I’ll admit that I have not been paying close attention to the increasing popularity of vinyl over the past year. Past multiple years, actually. Even now, I wonder how the heck those keywords of ‘LP’ and ‘vinyl’ escaped active thought, even though they were clearly registered through my eyes as I browsed music on Amazon.

Cambridge Audio unveils Bluetooth wireless speaker trio

Cambridge Audio is really good at one thing, and that’s speakers (and the accessories that go with). The way they go about crafting audio products, one might think it’s equal parts engineering and magic. You’ll always hear more coming out of Cambridge Audio speakers than what they look like they’re capable of. And the sound is nothing shy of impressive.

TechnologyTell Review: Edifier e25 Luna Eclipse speaker

The market for Bluetooth speakers is pretty packed, so it can clever engineering, marketing, or both to stand out and attract attention. While speakers still come in a variety of shapes and sizes, “rectangular” or “cylindrical” still appear to dominate. Yawn. Boring.

TechnologyTell Review: iLuv SyrenPro Speaker

When it comes to Bluetooth speakers, it’s not an easy thing to stand apart from the rest. As you should know by now, they come in all colors, shapes, and sizes by all sorts of different manufacturers. But while I was roaming around at CES 2014 earlier this year, one in particular caught my eye at the iLuv booth.

TechnologyTell Review: Libratone Live Wireless Speaker

One great aspect about attending CES for a week is that you get to hear a lot of audio products in action. The only real problem is that you don’t really get to listen to them, since there is so much noise and bustle all around. When I met with the team at the Libratone booth, I wanted more and louder, but without all the surrounding noise. So like any awesome company, they let me borrow one.

Creative launches DACs compatible with smartphones, tablet

Creative Technology loves audio, but they probably know that we consumers love audio more than they do. We do, dammit. So this is why they’ve taken such care to produce and support such awesome audio-related products over the decades. Speakers, sound cards, all of it.

GadgeTell Review: Amped Wireless BTSA1 Bluetooth Adapter

Although the number of Bluetooth speakers grows each month, there are so many more non-wireless speakers on the market. Many of these, arguably, present better and more detailed sound quality than some of the newer generations. It’s a shame to think that an excellent speaker could be considered obsolete simply due to the lack of wireless to complement the surge of mobile trends.

Denon launches USB DAC for audiophile quality sound

Many companies are making a return to Hi-Fi with releases of audio products touting improved sound quality. From headphones to speakers, easily portable or not, consumers have a wide range of options available.
