Kodak to announce the Z980 digital camera during CES

Although the embargo date for its press release is set on January 8, 2009, it didn’t stop some brave individuals to leak out information about the new Kodak Z-series camera model – the Z980 digital shooter.

The first key feature of the Kodak Z980 is the camera’s 24x zoom. This feature definitely puts the Kodak Z980 ahead of other digital cameras in its class. Of course, you also get Kodak’s proprietary Smart Capture technology which helps in producing high-quality images without unnecessary noise and image destabilization. This adds to the camera’s 26-mm wide angle lens which would give you easier time in taking shots at difficult situations.
