Rogers drops the BlackBerry Bold 9000 to $99.99 on-contract, also adds the white Bold 9000

T-Mobile has begun sending out BlackBerry Bold 2 launch invitations
Assuming we can believe this latest invitation, then it looks like the BlackBerry Bold 2 will have an official unveiling on T-Mobile on November 5. According to the recently leaked “Witness the unveiling…” invitation, T-Mobile will be holding the “T-Mobile Go Bolder Event” in New York on November 5. Additionally, there is also a similar but earlier event rumored to be taking place in LA on November 3. This of course falls in nicely with a rumored launch date of November 11.

RIM announces Blackberry Bold problems, delayed yet again
I’m not sure if RIM and AT&T will ever be able to launch the BlackBerry Bold in a timely matter, it always seems there is something new to prolong the delay of the highly anticipated AT&T BlackBerry Bold 9000.
Recently, RIM Co-CEO, Mike Lazaridis, said that the BlackBerry Bold is still undergoing 3G connectivity tests to make sure all is well when they finally release it. RIM and AT&T both want to make sure the official release goes as smoothly as possible and they do not suffer similar 3G network problems like the iPhone 3G experienced.
BlackBerry Bold now available for purchase with Rogers
Of course, we already knew that today was the day that they BlackBerry Bold was moved to the available status for Rogers Wireless customers, however we can also give you the rest of the disappointing news that comes along with it.
First up, and perhaps most upsetting is the price. The BlackBerry Bold will retail for $399.99. And in addition that $399 comes along with the standard three-year agreement and requires a data plan totaling more than $45 per month.
