Amazon Kindle Fire

Amazon has put out another ad touting its Kindle line while taking a few shots at Apple. In the new ad, Amazon again takes a shot at the iPad’s reflective screen that makes it difficult to read in direct sunlight. When the iPad user talks about movies and games, the Kindle user mentions the Kindle more »

Samsung’s Galaxy Note Super Bowl ad missed the mark

Galaxy Note ad

Samsung got itself a fair amount of press last week after it promised to showcase its latest amazing product with a lengthy Super Bowl ad that set the company back millions of dollars. We got excited for a moment, but then learned shortly afterwards Samsung would be promoting the Galaxy Note instead of an unannounced more »

Samsung takes a few jabs at Apple in Galaxy Tab commercial

With the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 coming soon, Samsung needs some way to draw attention to the Honeycomb tablet. And, if there’s anything that Motorola proved with it’s Super Bowl ad for the Xoom it’s that attacking Apple is always the way to go. At least that seems to be Samsung’s thinking in parts of more »

Together.Now. advertising campaign reiterates on Sprint’s unlimited plans, but also reminds customers it’s hip to the things people love to do on their phones.

Assuming we can believe the details coming from this Best Buy sales flyer, then it looks like the Motorola Xoom tablet is going to launch February 24th and come sporting a $799.99 price tag. Of course, while expensive sounding, this does fit in with previous leaks and rumors in terms of the pricing. Furthermore, the more »

Samsung Galaxy Tab takes over Times Square

Samsung is running a massive ad campaign for the Galaxy Tab in an effort to make consumers aware of the high-end Android rival to the iPad. Especially with the holidays, Samsung is running many ads in New York City alone. On Christmas Eve, I was walking through the city and Times Square with my family more »

Palm fan makes ad; it highlights the Pre and leaves out the creepiness

Palm has taken more than its fair share of criticism in regards to their television commercials. And just about all of them (except the last) have been described as being creepy. Thankfully though, Palm still has some dedicated and die hard fans that take the time to create their own commercials. This latest comes from more »

Verizon’s new “There’s A Map For That” campaign aimed squarely at AT&T

The latest ad campaign from Verizon seems to be aimed directly at AT&T and is quite entertaining. Personally, I am over the whole coverage side of the argument, but that is just because your level of coverage really depends on where you live and even more so where you go. I have an account with AT&T (iPhone) and Sprint (MiFi) and experience only the random issue where I live — that is despite hearing numerous times everyday how much both of those carriers suck.
