BitTorrent feels the sting from The Hurt Locker
Voltage Pictures, the creators of the Oscar winning film The Hurt Locker, really has it in for BitTorrent users who downloaded their movie. In an ongoing lawsuit, Voltage Pictures is going after 24,583 people who it hopes to acquire cash settlements from. In order to track down the individuals, the lawyers for Voltage Pictures are requesting internet service providers to hand over the personal details of the IP addresses associated with each defendant.

Comcast hints that new data cap may not be set in stone
Gigaom is reporting that the new 250GB cap Comcast announced recently may not be set in stone. In a chat with the site, Comcast spokeperson Charlie Douglas said the cap, which is roughly 100 times more than the average Comcast customer uses in a month, will likely rise as average consumption rises.
