BBM Music application launches today, brings you 50 free songs

BlackBerry owners have waited long enough. Today, RIM is going to put the BBM Music application inside BlackBerry App World as a free download. BBM Music is tied in with an existing network of BBM users. The benefit of this service is directly related to how BlackBerry users have friends that are also using BBM Music. Everyone will get 50 free songs to start and can potentially earn more songs as their BBM Music community expands.

RIM says sorry with free apps

Last week was not good for RIM. As the iPhone 4S was building up steam for its release, customers in India. RIM finally fixed everything on October 13, but not before outages that lasted three days in some countries. RIM is apologizing to its BlackBerry users with apologetic words and free apps. AT&T will enable BlackBerry Bridge today
