Netflix gained a lot of favor when it revealed it secured rights to exclusively distribute new episodes of Arrested Development in 2013. It will forever be known as the company that helped bring back a show that was adored by a lot of very dedicated fans. Hulu just announced a similar agreement involving Community. Hulu Plus is now the only place to watch every episode of Community.

This is one of those concepts/ideas/products that would work great in the perfect world and if people used it right, would be really cool. However this is the real world, and despite the undoubted merit in the idea behind this concept, I’m not sure it would work in the “real” world. Nevertheless I may be wrong and we may soon see these adorning streets everywhere: I am willing to be proven wrong. But what is it? This is the Boombench and it is pretty much what it sounds like.

Google’s new online virtual world program “Lively” is causing a bit of a stir for some users. It seems it has become a tad too lively in some of it’s rooms. Apparently there have been some “sex rooms” created in the virtual world, and a few users are complaining. Complaints which Google isn’t taking lightly.

“Our community standards prohibit sexually explicit images and rooms intended for sexual activity, even if virtual. When we become aware of ‘sex rooms’ that violate our Terms of Service, we’ll work to remove them.”
