Samsung and Google delay announcements to honor Steve Jobs

The PlayBook’s Android App Player is rumored to be delayed

In late July, RIM accidentally released the Android App Player for the BlackBerry PlayBook. It didn’t stick around for very long, because RIM pulled it shortly afterwards. RIM asked PlayBook owners to not download the application because it wasn’t finished. This was evidenced by user-made videos that pointed out missing features. AT&T, T-Mobile deal will take more time to approve

When the news of a possible AT&T acquisition of T-Mobile hit the news, we were told the approval process could take over a year. A deal of this magnitude requires the U.S. Justice Department and the Federal Communications Commission’s blessing to go through. There is a lot at stake here.
