Dell targeting the back to school crowd with their Latitude 2100 Welsh?
There’s a rumor just leaked over at Gizmodo that Dell is coming out with a new laptop. According to their “tipster”, their latest is the Latitude 2100 “Welsh” 10.1-inch netbook. Dell to transition all laptops to LED displays by 2010
PC Magazine is reporting that Dell plans to change its laptop displays to mercury-free and energy saving LED backlighting. Two thirds of their Latitude E-series will ship with the new displays by December 15th, and they plan to have 80% of their laptops include the new LED backlights. The transition is expected to be completed by 2010.
Dell to release a semi-rugged Latitude E6400?
This may be just another rumor here, but it looks like Dell is set to to make a semi-rugged version of the Dell Latitude E6400. If the standard Latitude E6400 doesn’t excite enough, then I guess the semi-rugged version which is reportedly to be shock-proof, spill-proof, dust-proof, and altitude and humidity resistant will be enough more »
