HBO stops providing Netflix DVDs of its shows

HBO made a bold gesture towards Netflix recently by cutting off its stream of DVDs. From now on, HBO will not provide Netflix with DVDs of its programs. Despite HBO’s decision, Netflix customers most likely won’t even notice anything has changed.

Redbox plays games: 21,000 locations to get games

Redbox, the vending machines that currently rent movies for $1 per day, announced today that the company will begin rolling out video game rentals to more than 21,000 machines starting June 17.
